whose idea was this anyway?
The closer this thing gets the more nervous I become....I seriously wonder if Lori was truly 'inspired' when she came to my house a few months back telling me she had been 'inspired' to ask me to do this race. I wouldn't ever let her know this...but I really am grateful that she thinks she was 'inspired'...cause this race has given me something to look forward to, and to push myself beyond what I ever thought I would ever be capable of doing. Today, down here in Safford, I ran 5 miles in 66 minutes...making that an average of a 13.20 minute mile. Now I know that doesn't even compare to the other runners on our team, but for me...that puts a smile on my face!!!

I knew you were excited!!! and yes I will still back up the fact that I was inspired! You shaved off a minute from your normal time down in Safford, just think what you're going to do at sea level!! This just makes me even more excited!!! Way to go girl! I love your guts! HA HA
